They came by trucks, I was just nine years old.
Their trucks were painted in colorful images... a dancing woman, a huge elephant, a scary tiger without a cage, a man and woman hand in hand hanged at the tip of a rope swinging....
I asked myself, what is this?
On that night my father and mother were talking at the dinner, "today a circus came to the town."
A circus it was!

God, didn't you notice the little boy with empty pockets? the boy trying to watch elephants walking to the tent? sitting outside?
