Wonderfully done! You have captured the lighting perfectly.
I was born in chicago but haven't visited there in years. Thanks for the reminder of how beautiful it can be.
God bless you and yours.

Nice compositional echo in the clouds, horizon, and waves. A bit soft, but perhaps due to jpg compression. The dark sliver on the far right (edge of another building) is a tad distracting.

Welcome Dmitriy, Yelena speaks highly of you and therefore held in high esteem by myself.

Your image shows a softness that I warm to, it is as if I were looking at an Illustration and not a photograph.
Splendid work, you really are good.

if I could be so bold as to inquire what filter did you incorporate to acquire such refined softness?

Dmitriy Margolin   {K:2318} 6/17/2004
Hello Hugh,

I'm sorry for late response, but I just came back from trip. Thank you for your comment and rating of my work !! I really appreciate this !!
As to you question - to be honest I did not use any filter. I photographed this skyline as is and then enhanced contrast a little bit when scanned. So I can say - everything is natural there - I just caught a good moment.
Again Thank you and Good Luck to you !!
Sincerely,
Dmitriy
