Hi Chris! Haha... they look so horrible, like hard straws of iron! ;-) But also I found it so funny, because it's so different. When we see soap bubbles, we kind of don't expect that they come from a face with this beard!
The tight crop on top... Yeah, I know! I didn't really know how to do with that part! Since I was concentrating so much on bubble and background composition with light, I didn't think so much of face part so it turned out this tightly cropped on top. I though later that I could crop it just under eye, but then I felt that those long soft eye lashes could maybe give a nice contrast to the rough hair face.
