Beautiful scene nicely composed.

Beautiful and graceful landscape. Rice feilds are always pretty. Wonderful composition. Only thing I would have done is to remove the second tree on the left side.
Regards,
ken.

Hi James, I hope you dont mind, but I can't resist seeing a beautiful image such as this not adjusted properly... let me know if you want the easiest, most accurate way to adjust photos like this....Chris

This is very beautiful, what a country for photography. The way you have taken this looks like a painting. Very dramatic and beautifully taken. Alison

Alison, again, thanks. actually the two days i was in northern guangxi province, the weather wasnt great. however, cloud and mist high up in these hills can actually enhance the photos.

unfortunately, i had a small accident with my camera just prior to shooting these photos. it was on the tripod, and i stepped back for a drink, and someone running by kicked it over. threw off the diopter setting, and while the camera still worked, i had difficulty focusing. this was all before i knew what the diopter did.

i really need to go back here and shoot the photos again, as the rice terraces are much better looking when full of water and planted rice. i went a bit too early, they were bone dry.

hi chris, i've recently re-visited the region i took these rice terrace photos in, and have just read your comment again on adjusting the photos properly. i wonder if you would be good enough to look at my most recent photos from Longji and give me your opinion on the new shots, in comparison to the not so well adjusted ones i uploaded in 2004.

warmest regards ~ james
