I like to think of the signmaker explaining this tree growing out of the side of his house. "Well, y'see, it all started as a potted plant, and then things got a bit out of hand, and before we knew it, it was too much trouble to cut it down..." [grin]
That's not kermit the frog, by the way, hiding under the tree. It's a plastic model hamburger ad. (No, don't ask me why!)
