About This is a detail from an old friend of mine, a tower.
This tower is situated in one of the most beautiful parks from a beautiful town full of parks (my hometown, he he), once called the "Little Viena". This tower is the left side of a stage from an open-air theatre, now abandoned and turning into ruins.
Each time I take a walk in that park I visit my tower-friend. I look at him and see how the vegetation became wall and the wall became vegetation and I realize that the time passed by and that we are among the very few survivors of a glory age. And I feel so old... and I haven't found my gate out of here... yet!

As just a photo it feels a bit dark and "messy", but together with your text about it it's very good, and very suiting! Interesting, but so sad mood.

I have stared at this image for over ten minutes now and just realized that if it can hold my attention for that long, it must be a very good image. I especially like the cropping. Thanks for sharing.
