About I stopped by Severna Park High School about 7pm this evening to take some more photographs of the bodly-painted athletic field concession stand. On the way, I noticed the interesting angles and curves of this part of the track. As I took a few shots, this gentleman obligingly wandered into the scene at just the right location.

I like the numbers and the lines ,might be even better if the man was running.

Hi Dan,

Thanks for your comment & suggestion. Wow, I don't think the photo was up for more than a minute before you posted your comment.

I'm going to try to re-do this one - hopefully, I'll get my 18-year-old son Ben to be the runner

It was accidental that I cut off the fellow's head - he wandered into the frame as I was composing it - but I rather like the headless look. I'll try it both ways with Ben, but what do you think?

Well done!!! I love the perspective and the man gives special touch to the picture! Great colours too.

Congrats, Marta

Congrats, Sven

Hello Sven,

Thank you for your kind words on this photo! I understand German, but I'm sorry I'm not able to speak or write it.

I did take some photos of the empty track before some people walked into view - here is one - do you like this one better?

Thanks and Best regards,
SteveR

So well composed. Try one without anyone and one with your son running.
This one works well for me as well.

John Orban   {K:725} 5/18/2004
Well done, Steve...I'm jealous. The person on the track adds just the right amount of tension and movement.
