Who would imagine shooting a floral at such long focal length but it works because it's not just about the flower. The light and shadow are very effective although this is some strange discolouration around the edge of the large shadows.
Very striking image.

hi, thanks for comment on my Tall ship image...love this shot!...great light and wonderful shadowplay...i use my 300mm for a lot of different shots as like the DOF and selective focusing...regards,gayle
