Aira, the selective focus is amazing, it feels as if you are about to grab the rail to get off. Even though the bus is mostly empty you never quite lose a sense of discomfort, you have to walk past that stranger, the next stop who knows who might get on, and all whilst carrying that precious camera!
Classic street photography.

Hi Aira, Super strong image. The point of focus on one of the seats in stead of the man is perfect. It adds a tremendous tension. The tonal range is perfect, and the atmosphere is very "self centered", as if oblivious of the world around, just staring into the void (two seats in front of you) with a blank mind. Superb feeling. Into my favourites, if you don't mind...;o)

aira, i remember when i used to commute to work. another long day has ended, but work continues as you think of the next day and the stresses it will bring. you zone out on the simple lines of the empty bus wondering why you live so far from your office and must ride the bus to the last stop. and the first stop tomorrow....
excellent execution of a very emotional situation.

I Love the feeling. 'A desire to connect' - how do you manage to convey so much vision in an image?
It's difficult to convey a feeling in an image without any conflicts at all. I think you've done it.
