About Water drops on a leaf. Again, this was done by reversing a 28 mm lens using a reversing ring. This is shot with the lens wide open and the camera mounted on a tripod. Focus is obtained by moving the camera back and forth to obtain the best view. What you see is what you get.

Dear Bill, this is an amazing shot!!! wonderful colors and composition bill!!! great work!! ....jon ps. I have gotten to like the Minolta A1 very much( at first I had doubts about the picture quality) since the camera has a very steep learning curve, my shots have gotten better and better as I have adjusted and figured things out...it feels very very nice in my hand, I even purchased a raynox 1540pro tele-conversion lens, which really lets me reach out before long distance shots! I am now in the process of buying a dedicated flash so I can get some good shots at a friends upcoming wedding(the Sigma EF 500 DG Super MA) yes I like the A1 quite a lot and if you need to know any other details, you can email me at Wolf1xx@aol.com, i would be more than happy to help..best regards....jon

I am going to have to try one of these reversal rings, they seem like such a neat way to have a peak at the world.

Love the camera still, just picked up a third body and an 80-200 2.8.
