Great idea, very nice image. I like it, but am not experienced enough to give advice on fouc/DOF.

Maybe you should not put leaf in the middle of photo, and try to include more of the rose in photo. nice photo.

Danijel

Thanks Teunis.. You did a great job with the photo, this is the level of the focus I wish my picture originally had.. :)

I like the closeup image, beautiful idea,to improve the main subject in focus, need to use selective focus method,by chosing to blur the background to keep the point of interest on the subject and create a soft dreamy look.Set your camera to the aperture priority mode if you have manual or semiautomatic camera, open up the aperture as much as possible in order to get a shallow depth of field and a blurred background.once you have set the camera to the desired aperture value, the camera will automatically adjust the shutter speed for the appropriate exposure..if your camera is fully automatic, you can activate the character mode or portrait mode to create the same effect..by the time you finished this I think you are confused,,lol,Saeed

LOL.. yeah, kind of confused, but I will read it carefully and implement your instructions.. :)
Thanks for the advice Saeed.
