I think that this is a much stonger image than the other, although I like it also. Sometimes what we don't show, in this case the woman, reveals more than showing all. The shadow is enough to portray the quiet solitude. Well done, kev.

thanks for your comment, kev, I really appreciate that. I wanted to upload both pictures to give an idea of the quiet place. shadows rock for sure! cheers, thilo

Hi Thilo, A completely different photo, but with the same atmosphere and serenity of the previous one. The composition is, IMO a tad stronger than the previous one. The shadows add alot of tension to this shot. Very well composed and exposed. Impressive.

Cheers,

Hugo

Very good, again! I thought your previous one was excellent, but this one is even better. Or better is perhaps not the right word, I mean it's two different photos and both are super. But there is something extra with this that I can't put my finger on exactly what it is. Perhaps the originality?

Following your theme (the silence) i find this SUPERB shot which embedded in small phrase all the emphasys of the life.
The concrete wall add a sense of solitude to the shadow on it!
In a word: Excellent!
Paolo
