About Since the forest entrance was closed due to major flooding this past Oct, the Ranger pointed me to another place that is very secluded. I used a tripod/cable release and stopped down to F/16 (I believe) for better depth. This type of shooting was surprisingly among my favorite! Although I must say my gear and I were soaked after three hours of being in this. Your comments and opinions are always appreciated.

Perfectly brilliantly excellently captured!
One incredible memory I had of Olympic park is how all that moss and vegetation made the forest as quiet as a recording booth. It was quite serene.

I was fortunate enough to visit on a rain-free day.

Again, splendid shot!!

For a PROFESSIONAL photographer you sure do shoot alot of color images 'Braddah'! Excellent Vince and you know that already or you wouldn't put this up ... Right?

I always have tremendous difficulty when shooting in a forest setting. I never know how to cram such enormity into a single photo. I don't know how you managed to pull it off, but this is great. Perhaps it's the balance of the two tree trunks, maybe it's the allure of the colour (the bits of red are a nice contrast) and textures. Well worth getting wet, I say!

Vince, this is just outstanding
Did you underrate the velvia to get the colour saturation?
Miss seeing you here, your great photos and your banter.
Post somemore stuff real soon so we can enjoy your work.
