About These are stairs that are on the grounds of what used to me an aslyum for the insane. The building was torn down in the late 1990's and the grounds are now a park for dog owners. There is a twin set on the other end of this valley with reminants of a sidewalk between them. I imagine this was a nice place to walk, with mostly grass and many fewer trees.

The place operated during what was less enlightened times about the mind and how it works. I saw the building about 30 years ago and it was scarey. All the windows had bars on them. And this was not for criminally insane. Inside, some of the equipment was still around.

But, nature is reclaiming the area now. Moving aside what humans have put there.
