About Surely somebody can tell me what kind of tree this is. I drove by hundreds of them in Northern Florida, and Southern Alabama, and they smell more wonderful than they look!

Lovely, fairy tale colours, and delicate petals... From the look of the leafs, I'd guess it's mimosis (not sure if it's a proper name in English) :-)

Phil McLean   {K:11523} 5/25/2004
I'd say just stick with the name you've given it... :)

Lou Dina   {K:12194} 5/25/2004
Beautiful colors, Brad. I'm not absolutely certain, but I think it might be a Mimosa tree. We have them in Maryland too (I think it's the same tree). Lou

Yes, the concensus is Mimosa......

Thank you all for turning in your answers on time...it MUST be a Mimosa. ...I thought a Mimosa was made with champagne and OJ??

Now that's a cool looking flower.
I like the detail in this one.

I have no idea what they are but they certainly are unique and beautiful. Wonderful detail and bright pinks captured.

Excellent Bradley - love the colours and detail

nice one, bradley. great colors, DOF and detail. normally there should be some distance between the main subject and the borders but this time, I think it works well without it. gives the flower some support. cheers, thilo

Very COOL! Love the colors, and the bold composition!

I'm browsing your portfolio; you really have some nice work!
