About They say it brings luck to meet a lady bird. But perhaps not so much for lice and flees on plants, because it eats them up.

I have now read that if they can't find food they can sometimes become cannibals!

Also, if it's very dry summer they can go crazy because they desperately need water, so they actually bite our skins to get it! (It has never happened to me though)

Ps. I'm sorry I have so little time at the moment for commenting! I have not forgotten you! ;-)

Hi Kristina, Very good shot, and a great DOF... Very well captured, and a very good composition. I like the framing of this shot, not only the subtle black frame, but also by using your fingers... Difficult to shoot a G5 with one hand, I presume. And it looks like your left-handed...;o) Very appealing shot, and very creative!

Is this just a brief return or do you have a bit more time on your hands?

Cheers,

Hugo

REPLY TO HUGO:

Hello Hugo! Hihi... you are right, I am lefthanded, but this is my little son's hand. Ehhh... Hugo... Did you REALLY think I would have that dirty finger? ;-)

He was playing in the sand and found this ladybird. Then I said that if he can hold his little hand totally still I can photograph his friend and he can see it later on the screen. He went really excited and stood so still with his little dirty hand! So I guess half credit goes to him.

About being busy... Yeah, still, but tonight I have planned some "usefilming" in my quality time... haha.

Hugo de Wolf   {K:185017} 5/26/2004
Hi Kristina, you could've been gardening....;o) But your explanation adds a very personal touch to this image...

Take care!

Cheers,

Hugo

Klassz kép. Gratulálok.

Thanks for your kind comments. We had a big SAP Implementation project, therefore is was a bit occupied. We will close the Project tomorrow, then i will have a bit more chance to take photos and visit the Usefilm. I put some not really good pics out, but i like them, they are part of my life.
Looking forward to seeing your pics.
Best wishes, Radák
