PD: ayer quise agregar a Maria Jose a mi lista de amigos , pero parece que ahora los que no somos donnors solo podemos tener 3 amigos, jajaja

Dear Carmen, Magnificent shot, but I'll start with a minor point of critisism first (to get that off my chest....;o) I think the chimney splits the image a bit. If it wasn't too high, I would've selected a portrait format, and capture some sky on top as well.
Now for the good things, which outnumber my sole point of critisism by far....;o) The tones create a very moody landscape, and a perfect atmosphere. The compositon with the wide angle and the perspective, for a large part introduced by the lines in the bench are excellent. The Bench is, IMO, a very important element in this shot. The lettering on it also add to the atmospehere, and as I wouldn't expect them there, they also create a good deal of tension in this shot. The sky is fabulous. Very well captured, and a perfect exposure. The slight vignetting around the edges make it a timeless image. Stunning shot, very well captured. My compliments on this one!

Hugo, it is a very ancient and tall palm tree.. Paraty is a historical village in Rio de Janeiro state ( not the city).

He was in Paraty village at same hotel, and same week that me and my friend Márcio.. We didn?t know each other, at that time.. but when he posted that picture, Márcio wrote him and had discovered that coincindence...

Vou um pouco "contra a maré", provavelmente foi proposital, há um efeito tipo "spot" ,mas a meu ver os tons ficaram um pouco forte demais,principalmente os pés do banco,na base da palmeira e o morro no fundo,mas a foto em si agrada por realmente passar certa nostalgia.Abraços.

Na realidade, é o contrário... é uma foto muito escura que foi aplicado (muito) dodge e spot... Tinha feito de brincadeira, quando a Ana Vianna me ensinou o burn e o dodge, nunca tinha usado.. ontem achei e resolvi pôr o gradiente vermelho escuro e um pouco de burn no céu, só, para dar o "moody ".

Dear Carmem, this is obviously a powerful composing with lots of details. the color you chose fits in perfect with the mood. tonal range is just perfect. I love the lighting on the grass, the stunning sky and the bench. I'm just wondering what that object in the middle is? It separates the composing in a strong way.
