Hi Renato, i've been away for a couple of days, back now! This is a nice image! IMHO i would still try for more contrast, that's just my taste though. Looks like a great scene and i would like to see the colour version! Best wishes, Neil

Renato Haber   {K:7228} 5/29/2004
Hi Neil, we all missed you, your images and comments. ;-)

I posted the color version, just take a look and tell me what do you think.
Best wishes,
Renato

Hi Renato, thanks for your kind comment. Well, i looked at the colour version and really liked it. In fact i prefer it to your B&W version - but anyway i copied it and had a play to see if my version was much different to yours (hope you don't mind!) I removed the hair and straightened the horizon a little and then basically treated it like i do my B&W photos. Below is the result Using PSE v. 2.0. Please note i only did this to try and better explain what i meant. Not to criticise, dear friend. Hope you like it.
All good things, Neil

Hi Neil!

No, my friend, I don't mind. Better than that, I like it! Many times I have luck; just point my camera, fix a little bit the focus, push the button and get something cool. Maybe, I need to concentrate on: read a little bit, and try more (Photography is like bike: no pain, no game). Of course, that UF is helping me a lot.

Everyday, I have fantastic lessons of Photography by browsing the pictures posted here.

... and (I guess this should be posted to the Photo Forums). I read many posts (some from you) about the "missing" FAQs. Like, now I am playing to generate sepia and B&W photos. Ok, that we can find a lot of sites on the web. But, I really think that they use photos that they know will produce a good result. I don't know...

Then, the help from you, and other people here, is precious. Thanks a lot!!!

Best wishes,

Renato
