Very nice capture, Carmem! Beautiful cat portrait and interesting very strong light and colours! That little bit I can see of the eyes works like "appetite teaser" and I would love to see a portrait with big open eyes of him. (her?)

carmem, this is a great example of strong color play and wise usage of DOF. great subject also. Two things: Did you intend to photograph your cat with closed eyes in this case? Second: a tad more room on the right would probably fit better to the head's direction. great one anyway. cheers, thilo

Margaux doesn?t stands being photographed.. she moves her head, closes her eyes (well, light was to close, indeed)..
What she really do love is seating over my legs and over my PC keyboard or over the book I'm reading.. I?m trying this shot for a long time... now with my new camera and its zoom lenses, I (almost) succeed in...
Photos are for Karen, she says, moving up her nose..

Aiii Carmem, desculpa, eu jah estou com mais de 10 fotos de amigos pra comentar, to na maior correria aqui, hoje tive aula de ingles, fiquei a tarde toda estudando, mais academia, mais visita em casa, mais trabalho o dia todo.... estou enfunerado! Eu vi sim a Margaux logo no dia que vc fez upload, mas nem tive tempo de comentar ninguem, me desculpe! Vou voltar no ritimo normal em breve. A Margaux é linda! adorei ela (tenho uma queda por siameses)!!! A foto ficou muito nítida, com muito sharppen, e o contraste do azul com vermelho valorizou muito! Parabéns!

Beautiful cat, fantastic sharpness and wonderful colours. I love the half opened eyes. Did you know that if your cat looks at you through partial opened eyes they are conveying their trust in you? You should look back the same way and speak softly to show mutual trust and respect. I also purr back to my cats, ok I am weird, I know :-)

Oi Carmem, brigadão pela dica. Tentei algumas atualizar a página (F5), mas não vi nem as suas e nem a minha foto. Desisti. Não tenho muita paciência com isso...Uma hora eu colido com ela.
Essa tua foto está um show. Absolutamente perfeita: composição, definição, cores e a modelo. Não sou fã de bichos em geral. Gosto de máquinas e coisas afins...Mas tua arte está tão exuberante que é impossível não ficar admirando este trabalho...parabéns...7+++
