Rawabi Al-Nuaimi   {K:15659} 6/2/2004
interesting shot with great tones.. a little too much texture (maybe due to sharpening in PS?)

Paul's Photos   {K:34954} 6/2/2004
Did not sharpen the photo, the image may have been resized by Usefilm which may have effected the texture a little.. thanks for the comment

Massimo Di Maggio   {K:-56773} 6/2/2004
I adore this kind of shot, it's really a pity for those digital noises, I'm not sure, but it seems a excess of JPG compression, anyway a great capture, the two men are lovely! Bye Max

Paul's Photos   {K:34954} 6/2/2004
Thanks for the comment.. yeah, there is noise/distortion from uploading to Usefilm.. was thinking of reloading it

Paolo Barthelemy   {K:24873} 6/3/2004
Great BN! I love the brightness of the two subject that makes them "get out from the screen" without loosing the detail on the dark background.
Excellent exposure choice and composition. Congrats!
Cheers, Paolo

P. Christine Skinner   {K:27338} 6/16/2004
Wow, this is a striking image. The texture, however it was achieved and B/W give it such an old feel. The gentlemen's clothes add to that quality and love the straight proper pose of the man on the left and the sort of bored, tired expression of the man on the right. The gate and open doorway are perfect natural framing. Such a relaxed, old friends mood.

Jeff Cartwright   {K:52046} 6/18/2004
Hi!...Paul:Excellent Photograph! Slightly Grainey, Which Enhances the Atmosphere, of the Scene!....Presented in the Genre of the Blak and Whiter Style of the Thirties!

Carsten Ranke   {K:14453} 4/26/2005
Outstanding. Really one of the best street photos I have seen for a long while. Yes, the jpeg artifacts are a bit distracting, and it is apity that UF doesn`t offer an easy reload option, without deleting the comments.
Into my favs !
Regards; Carsten

Paul's Photos   {K:34954} 4/27/2005
