About This was taken with one of the first digital Nikon cameras that i bought (1.25 megapixel), so the quality is suffering a bit. Never the less i really liked this image and thought it was good enough to show here on UseFilm

Excellent shot with a very dramatic atmosphere. The light is excellent and the composition is perfect with the grain silos placed in the right corner!!! - congrats on a great photo.

this is a nice landscape bartock. although, if possible, i would like to see photos of grain elevators. i grew up in the west and think they're great structures. thanks for commenting on one of my photos. james

you certainly have a great portfolio here. These grain silo photos are my favorite, this one with its killer sky being my pick. Excellent work!

Tim  Schumm   {K:28854} 6/14/2004
Hi Randal, thank you for your comment. After seeing your portfolio it has much weight.
Regards Bartock

Excellent indeed. Never mind the bit of noise. Look at that sky!!!

These silos are a great focal point. They add a bit of scale and an anchor point in the composition.

The main subject for me is the big sky, big clouds, amazing light and golden hues.
