Great shot, Roger: A very serene scene, makes me wish i was there. What time of day was this? Maybe i'd still be in bed ;-)
Best wishes, Neil

i was going to go to bed when this photo came up.....WOW, nice image. Glad i stayed up just a bit longer. Cheers, Bartock. P.S. one small thing my eye goes down to the cloud reflection in the bottom left. It's a little distracting.

What a fantastic horizon. Love the stray clouds reflected in the sea.

Hi Rog, The colours are stunning, as usual, and I like the tranquility and solitude. I feel this one could use a prime point of attraction though. My eye is constantly drawn towards the reflection of the cloud in the pool near the lower edge. A nice detail, but as it is not the prime subject of this shot, also a bit distracting, as it attracts too much attention. A second think is the bike track along the left edge. A nice touch, but also to prominently there. The patterns in the sand are perfect though.

Cheers,

Hugo

In a way, it doesn't seem a beach......more like a flooded plain. A fascinating photograph, Roger!

Quite lovely, Roger. This lens gives a really nice image quality... don't think I've seen you use it before. You must have used the entire gamut of black to white running from bottom right to upper left. Fantastic range of tones, and just enough colour, if you know what I mean. The range of mountains on the horizon is beautifully shaded, too. Another side of your wonderful talent.

Roger Skinner   {K:62372} 6/8/2004
Cripes Antonella has gone off over this one mate... I don't know for me the scene before me must be nature as pristine thing or as ladscape altered lived in ruined etc by humans... umm I cant reconcile the tracks thru the sand with the flawless beach that stretches before me so beacuse I am such a wanker I am gonna send this one down

Lucy Bernadette   {K:5785} 6/13/2004
beautiful smoothness you've captured here.
