About I was in my favorite camera store buying a new Nikkor 70-300 f4-5.6 ED for my Nikon D70 this afternoon and I had just put the lens on the camera when I noticed these picture frames for sale on a lower shelf about 20 feet away! my first shot with this new lens....jon

Jon dearest,I came back after quite a long time...but then I missed my friends so much and here I am since yesterday.
I noticed this very intriguing picture in the thumbnails, but knowing your style I would have never guessed it was yours.
Fantastic,really,a great image!!!!
So you bought the D 70 after all.....tell you the truth...I'm quite ashamed to say,but yesterday I did the same and I am unpacking it right now. I got dirt into the CCD of the D 100 and thought that a second body would have been useful.
Crazy...am I not???
Missed you so much, dear! Many congratulations, love,Antonella 10++++++++++ for the originality of the photo!!

I like this pic a lot, but the part with flowers on the right and the black spot on the left kind of distracts. BUT, as Antonella said, a very original approach - and very good as such!

Jee Jon!! Nice capture! You're well packed now..!! I bought a new camera myself last week: Canon 10d. Just arrived a few days ago. Very happy with it! Did not do a lot of photography with it, very busy with work. Still waiting for my Canon 100-400mm L USM, which I ordered with the camera, but I think that's going to take a few weeks for arrival... can't wait!! Very curious about your D70/Nikon 70-300mm pictures! First one looks very good! Greetings, Melissa
