Great choice in B&W Rebecca. Looks very dark on my screen, try brightening it up and then burning back in the sky in Photoshop.

Sam Andre   {K:12556} 6/6/2004
Very simbolic attributes here.... For both, life or dead... Very good composition

Gayle's Eclectic Photos   {K:91033} 6/6/2004
hi, i wouldn't go as far as Bren's edit, but go a bit lighter on grass to show some midtone range..Like the comp and looks like a scene in movie or real life where tornadoes are spotted..gayle

Ahhh, so you have a FujiFilm FinePix as well. How do you like it so far? This is a wonderful dramatic shot. Splendid contrast. I love it just the way you presented it.

I bought the Fiji from Jon Parsons on here. He had his up for sale, as he was buying a new digital SLR. I think I'm gonna love it.

I love the angry sky in the background Rebecca!! did you shoot this one in black and white or convert it?? very artistic work!!....jon

Rebecca Raybon   {K:26655} 6/6/2004
I shot this one in black and white, Jon. Thanks :)

Dirck DuFlon   {K:35779} 6/6/2004
Love it, Rebecca! Another wonderfully dramatic sky. Odd looking things, these silos, almost like some kind of plant growing in bizarre gigantic clumps! I think I agree that the buildings and foreground could stand a little lightening, so I gave it a shot (just some levels and dodging)...

Alfonso&Daniela Fortino   {K:2446} 6/6/2004
beautiful! dramatic sky adds value at your composition. ciao:-)

Rebecca Raybon   {K:26655} 6/12/2004
I forgot I was going to come back and thank you for the comments and making the changes. Been very busy. I think Bren lightened much more than I would have liked. I would actually like just the silhouettes, but it wasn't dark enough yet. One of these days I'm gonna learn to " dodge and burn" myself! Thanks :)
