Christian Barrette   {K:21125} 6/9/2004
Congrats Audrey, this is so well deserved.
I'm particularly touched by the quality of the light and the translucid flowers. The masses and the lines are smooth and gracious and complement perfectly the mood created by the light.

Rui Palha   {K:13851} 6/9/2004
Wonderful, unusual and excellent flower composition, Audrey.

Audrey, compliments for the BIP!! Usually I don?t like too much flowers? macros, but this is very original with a particular angle, it makes me feel like an insect in the magic world of nature, good colours and lights, very beautiful, the flowers really give me the idea of friendship. Hugs Max

Darrin James   {K:3944} 6/10/2004

Alisa Mudge   {K:12438} 6/11/2004
Audrey ,
It's difficult to acheive an original flower photo but you have accomplished the task. This says grace and elegance to me.

Becky V   {K:9681} 6/13/2004
Audrey, this is awesome! Your depth of field is really quite good, and yet there's a subtle softness throughout that, when combined with the yellow, can't help but to make one feel warm and fuzzy. Awesome colour and perspective. I hope this is hanging on one of your walls!

Charlie Day   {K:17} 6/19/2004
i like it, so does my mum and dad! unusual angle.

Stuart Moxham   {K:116} 7/2/2004
The low camera angle really makes me feel like I am under giant yellow tulips and they are going to trample me. Nice shot I like it alot.

Massimo Di Maggio   {K:-56794} 7/21/2004
Thanks for your comment Audrey, it moved me very much, I must tell you that I was sorry to find you deleted your photos, but everywhere you decided to go, I wish you good luck and a very good time!! Your friend Max

Sam Andre   {K:12430} 8/5/2004
Yellow rules, this picture seems to scream... very good

Roberto Arcari Farinetti   {K:177029} 12/30/2004
Unbelievable... Audrey, I seem to be a "puffo" a snail to see this show!
We are always too big and haughty to see the beautiful one of the nature.
The humility should follow the life. Excuses the I digress, but the photography is really impressive and strong a superb DOF and one perfect composition.
my best congrats and wishes for a new year!
roby

Carlos     {K:12969} 2/12/2005
very beautiful

Roger Williams   {K:82213} 4/29/2005
I followed the image on the front page (congratulations) to your portfolio. So varied, so talented! So very, very few in number!! I wish I could see more of your work. Do you have a personal website where you show it? I personally prefer the B&W you get from film than the digital B&W, but the contrast between either of them and this astonishing color vision just blows me away!

Keith Ruddell   {K:3570} 5/1/2005
breathtaking... for some reason it reminds me of my mother

Piero Rocca   {K:247} 5/1/2005
Ditto to everything above.

Peter De Rycke   {K:38009} 5/2/2005

Eleisa Martin   {K:2579} 9/20/2005
This is one of the most beautiful pictures I've seen. I can't beleive you don't have an award for it.

Well done!

Audrey Reid   {K:5872} 9/21/2005
Thank you to EVERYONE for the really kind and nice comments.

Audrey Reid   {K:5872} 9/21/2005
Thank you Eleisa. This did indeed have an award but I often 'spring clean', what you see is a reload.
Awards are but one single person's preference. There's no telling how quilified or unbias that person is. Don't put too much importance on them. You learn more from people's comments on yours and others work. Choose friends with care and you'll gain :)
