Hooray! He's come back out to the light.
I do enjoy green horizontals, the striation in plant forms. Though these fronds are reaching into focus more than hanging flat.
Like the red famboyant bit at the back almost upstaging your bloom and the stars to the right.
Out for a walk and getting focussed.

Snapshot or not, welcome to the small world!
As usual when it comes to my eyes for this kind of "snapshots" the background is what atracts my attention.
A universe is there. Maybe too much of magenta.
Maybe it is because I hate magentas, my self.
Anyway, good when you find time to post :)

The use of minimal depth of field really helps this image from having a distracting background. I enjoy the composition, the very colorful flower really stands out well...Im sure the quality of the slide is super, looks like a bit of quality was lost in the scan...Nice image,

Great depth.. great 3d feeling over it! Love the colors.. very special! Light seems to be just right asswell. As most of the scene is blurry one starts to think how it looks around this place. I love it when you get that feeling! =)
