this is a very expressive portrait,Mark,and also nicely framed and lighted. maybe a bit more light on her eyes would help - this can be done easily in post processing. the D70 is the camera i would buy if i had the money; i'm glad you own it and wish you to enjoy it!

You're both right about the eyes (though i have never worked with layers in PS).
The D70 is great to work with. Mind you, i had to sell another camera and my bicycle!
