Oh yes Formentera ! I went there so long time ago... I think that it was around the moment when Barbet-Schroeder was making his film ("More") in Ibiza. At that time there were very few tourists on those Islands !
Your photo remembers me that hippy time that i didn't apreciate enough !

Looks like a painting. Love the tones, the lack of focus makes it more inviting to the eyes, nice soft light.
The content is intriguing. It looks somewhat like a ling departure since they are quite worn and have been in the sand for some time. Hmmm... could it meant freedom from an old passion? There's some sadness, blues mood to it. And that's very personal. And nice.
