Great image - love the diving flower - almost looks like a pink turtle! Excellent lighting - see how it shades the pink from light to dark, and how it highlights the "spine"?! Fabulous DOF; also like the hanging "branch" which brings the floral into the focus point.
What might distract the eye is the leaf at the bottom left.
Overall though, Kriss, a wonderful image - full of colour, light and life.

Hi Ned! Actually, you made me realise now that love can be so different, so... of course the colours of it should be different too! Hopefully not black, that feels destructive... :-)
Tripod... Ehrm... Well, I do have one somewhere but it's very very rare that I use it. That would be only for night photos, but I don't take many night scenes. I should though... But I need to find something that is worth it first! ;-)
If I'm lucky I can place the camera on something like a stone etc, but most of the times I'm crawling in weird angles with the camera so I just handhold it and hold my breath... haha.

So how were you yesterday, Max? When it was 1-1?
I didn't watch, but I heard the tv, and they kept saying that Italy played extremely good and were fantastic. While Sweden didn't play to good and the italians gave very hard time for them, so the goal was really something very sureprising.
I looked a little in beginning when they sang the national anthems and I started to laugh to Italy. Because one of the players was totally silent, and the one standing next to him put his whole soul into singing loud!
