Hi Brian,

A fabulous photo! The railing and his pose make for a great composition. Nothing behind him to distract the viewer from the intensity of this image.

I thought this already fine image might benefit from a little bit of PS. I very slightly dodged his face to bring it out a bit and also cropped a small bit off the top of the image. Finally, I juiced up the saturation just a little. All just my personal taste - what do you think?

BTW, I really liked your bio!

Best regards,
SteveR

Steve, tks for the comments. Yes, I like the PS work that you did. I am pretty fair with PS but I wonder how you did this? Did you take a lighter color from the face?

Hi again, Brian,

>> ...but I wonder how you did this? Did you take a lighter color from the face? <<

Would you believe -- all I did for his face was to wave the "dodging wand" over his face a tiny bit - even used the default settings :-)

You have a quite interesting portfolio - a lot of man at work - very good - and this is my favorite - beautiful colors, sharp and detailed - well done.
