Nicely handle exposure Jon. Maybe just a slight hint of shadow recovery would open up the tree trunks. The compositon has a nice three dimensional feel with the distant view up the river. Regards John

love this image. you've captured a gorgeous and very peaceful spot very beautifully.
looking at it is very soothing.
wonderful contrast of light and shadows, spendid colours.
shame i have been missing so many of your posts lately, but it couldn't be helped.
thanks so much for caring, i'm ok now. still on pain killers all day though, and very frustrated cause i have my right shoulder, shoulder blade and arm broken and i can't do a thing with my left hand, not even type properly, let alone shooting. it will take a while before I am fully functional again on uf. meanwhile i will be sitting here admiring your new posts and i plan to soon be writing comments again even if i will be slow.
