About This tree gets so much wind all its life it has just grown this way. Just the same there is a storm of big wind coming in a few minutes ... that's why were down here waiting for that moment. I got some great shots at this time as you will see.

Hi Bartock, very nice capture. Great toning and a good choice for this photo. Maybe it's me but i'm not sure if it's level though - difficult to tell because of the rocks in the foreground and it could be an illusion because of the low view point, could also just be my eyes though! ;-)
Best wishes - Neil

Like the sepia toning...the sky looks virulent and the wind-tormented tress make the picture more dynamic...beautiful composition
Was going through other pictures in your portfolio...like your style especially the angle when you capture sky photos. Great work.

Hi Neil.
yes it looks a bit off but I think it's the barrelling affect from my wide-angle lens which makes the corners curve up. I actually like the affect as it is a subtle unsettling affect that's hard to put your finger on. It also in this case it increases the drama and movment, again in a subtle way to my way of feeling.

Tim  Schumm   {K:28854} 6/19/2004
Oh Yeah the great painter of the 19th- 20th century Paul Cezanne would do similar things in his images to enhance the affect of his paintings. ORRRR I'm just to lazy to change it and am justifying it to you LOL ...you pick. All in fun thanks for the comment Neil , its much appreciated

Mother nature creates some spectacular abstracts of her own. This is an ominous view, and you can feel the storm coming. Great job! ...Brad
