Jake,
It is a Messerschmidt, made right after WWII, by the German aircraft builder.
3 cylinder engine, 2 stroke as I remember.
Great capture.

Sam is correct, 1952 was the year they started. here were three models, the FK150, KR175 and KR200. There was also a hardtop with a plexiglass roof (so you could see the sky, very cool) In 1955 it broke 26 land speed records.
All this info is from the book The Worlds Strangest Autos. This car proudly graces the cover.

fantastic subject........ irresistible
all however you/he/she is penalized by a bad release and by the very annoying presence of an ugly horizon that appears crooked....
but I understand that it was a fleeing instant... and as me you have not withstood to post her/it
