About Taken at Cades Cove in the cantilever barn, for those of you familiar. Natural late afternoon light. This was the first day I used the micro lens and I was running around looking at everything up close and shooting away. Ah, good times.

interesting, great subject, I might have darkened the spokes a bit in PS here is my effort, no offense please

None taken Steve, that's why I'm here. I suppose the light is a litle hot, it's just hard for me to tell for sure on my screen. I tend to err on the side of a little too bright with my scans since they tend to print about 1/3 to 1/2 a stop darker. Thanks.

Robert are you using PS? if so then do a search for Adobe Gamma and calibrate your monitor. really helped me. I burned your wheel but also bumped up the contrast. IN PS7 you can use the navigator and then balance the picture RBG. meaning you pick a true black put the pointer on it and read out the Red , Blue and Green and try to get them all equal. I joined a photoclub and learned all this. regards and thanks for the comment on mine, I think that shot was unrated and you cheered me up
