About A brief visit to the lovely falls in the Cascade mountains yielded this nice shot of the first clinging to the cliffside. I used a polarizer to obtain a slower shutter speed, giving a bit of motion to the water.

I think the horizontal branches and the vertical falling water set up a tension that just emphasises the power of the falls. The colors too. Warm vs. cool. It all works. Nicely done.

I was using it quite a lot, Jeff. Just not in the photos uploaded so far. More are on the way, but this is what I could snag with my 21mm

Wonderful froth, understand why it is called the Cascades. Beautiful vivid detailed greens.

Paul Lara   {K:86876} 6/25/2004
Actually, Christine, the Cascades refers to the entire mountain range running through Oregon & Washington.

Trish McCoy   {K:15897} 6/26/2004
