Great image although quite disturbing to look at!
Great light and comp.
Is it in some kind of kiln?

Lars Raun   {K:1701} 6/28/2004
hi David and thanks for your comment. I dont know what a kiln is, but the shot was made in this old abandoned industry place which used to make materials for roofs (dont know the english word for it, sorry). She's actually lying in a gigantic oven. It was pitch black, and the light was created with a wireless SB800 flash, placed in the corner to the left behind the wall.

Hi Lars
A kiln is an oven for making/cooking bricks, roof tiles or pottery.
And the light is very good for one flash.
Cheers

awesome

excellent gothic feel to this. i like the warmth of the bricks contrasting to the cold greenish hue of her body.

A techically well presented image but the subject matter stirs up memories of concentration camps and crematoria. Regards John

beautiful!
