I really like the curve of the walkway in this shot and the exceptional clarity of the foliage! A top notch job as always.

Hi, Des! (Des? OK??) Years ago I heard that panorama lovers with rotary cameras should avoid bright sunny days and look for brightish overcast days. Now I know why from experience. 180- or 220-degree shots can pull it off with sunshine strong (witness that shot of St. Mark's) but otherwise, and particularly for 360-degree shots, the changing angle produces high contrast images in one direction or another. [sigh] Thanks as always for your comments.

I've never encountered a rainbow with a camera in my hand, and it's getting kinda late in my life to think it's gonna happen any time soon. If I did, I guess the distinctive rainbow arch would be scrunched up into a sharper form, which would look more "odd" than "cool," I fear.

Thanks, Chris. This was a new one for me, so I'm most grateful. They look a bit odd as "photographs" but they work very well using a VR plug-in... Since my arthritis was healed I've been wanting to get up into the mountaings again. Maybe one weekend before too long... The Swiss panoramas were an encouragement.
