mark, when i first saw the thumbnail i thought it was a railroad rail. very cool. is the color difference between I and II due to lighting in the room or is it PS? i like the angle of this one better. just a tad tho ;^) also, it does look a bit like copper. is it really steel?

Thanks for your comments. I think i just changed the whitebalance...
But it is steel. I never realised how uneven the surface is until i saw the photo.
