I like this one too, Gertrud, particularly for the composition with the arm that crosses it through its diagonal; lighting and toning is perfect too and the general mood is lovely.
Don't know if it's intentional but I'd have preferred to see the hand entirely and without that bright triangle in the left-lower part that, IMHO, distracts a bit. To give the idea of the window, instead, the canvas's "waves" may have been brightened by a soft light placed behind the model. Just an idea, not a critique to this very moody and sensual portrait. Congrats!

this whole series is wonderful - but this image has even more some special element to it - not sure just what it is - it's a bit more complex in a good positive way and therefore having more "content" -- a bit more raw too if that makes sense - very real - very much alive - tonailties in the B&W image have a life of their own - but the subject comes into a life or reality - or maybe even a character that is somehow accessible to the emotional and subjective eye .. Gertrude - what a wonderful living image you have made here ... more towards a masters work ..
