Most photos of the solstice will have a sun peeping through Stonehenge or over a mountain, some druids and a malevolant atmosphere.
Not so in Leeds though.
This is a photo from my back garden, the sun was shining from behind me and making that TV ariel glimmer a little, so I got the 300mm amd a bird landed.... photo made itself.
The sky really was that brooding too. That is looking over toward Colton from Morley.
