Excellent light and contrast. The smoke is particularly effective. I'm not sure if I like the cables in the foreground or not but overall it's a great image.

This is an excellent composition, it looks like the building are on fire. Love how the buildings are silhouettes but fimd the power line distracting. Keep up the good work.

yes! the smoke is the thing here and i really like that you cropped out most of the buildings and let the smoke create the movement and drama. i agree about the cables, but there was nothing you could've done about that (well, call alberta hydro...:)). fantastic pic!
