Hi Carmem, Very expressive shot. The concentration in those kids ayes and their actions create an excellent tension. I like the close crop and the brightness and contrast. Very well captured!

Thanks Hugo for all recent comments on my work. You know I wait for them with anxiety. In my opinion, you are the best photography?s critic in UF.
This picture was taken in school traditional folkloric party. I do love colors, but I know this is classic b&w composition.. so I was not sure about my choice.

Pois é Carmem, a foto está ótima! Esse foi um ótimo momento que vc capturou! Gostei das cores, do enquadramento, e apesar do PB ter ficando muito bom, eu tb acho que o colorido ficou melhor!
E vamos conversar sobre aquele assunto de fotografar gente, tenho muito ate contar sobre minha pouca experiencia e dificuldades!

Beautiful crisp and colourful candid capture Carmem. The little girl on the left has such an intent expression. I think it looks great in B/W as well and can see why it was a hard choice.

Carmen: particularmente yo prefiero las fotos en color a las B&w, pero tambien me gustan y son muy bellas. Creo que escogiste bien dejando esta foto con el color original, pues he visto las muestras de sepia y B&W y me parece que no resalta tanto la belleza de esta foto de excelentes colores, contrastes y detalles. recibe un fuerte abrazo querida amiga.

Hi Carmem, i'm pleased you keot this in colour. Yes, it would also work in B&W but the contrast of the clothing and the intense look of concentration of the childrens faces is perfect in colour. Nice study of life! Well done.

Dear Carmem,
I really love the determined look of the children. For me who never had been to South America, this is a picture well beyond my typical experience. Therefore the clothes of the children also create great interest for me. very colorful and good framing. lovely!

Nice portraits.Good control of the Coolpix.My opinion, color, only one in an hundred, to me, makes any sense in B&W.You report ,as film, Iso 100 Digital.I would sugest to indicate , for example, Lexar 256MB. By the way, what?s the size of your memmory? I?ve five Lexar 256 MB and one Lexar 1 GB. My usual size is UXGA-FINE.Please go to http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikoncp5700/default.asp if you want to learn more about the 5700.
