| About |
The covered area at Fountain's abbey. Just realised that I uploaded the wrong photo - there's about 15 of these, and this one's lievels are a little on the green side.... still, it was quite green with lichen and moss, so what the hell.
This place is just out of Ripon in North Yorkshire and I've drivben past on numerous occaions as it's £5:50 to see an old ruin....
Believe me, it's money well spent if you've got your camera kit as there's loads of ruin left, far more than any other in the area, and there's a lovely water garden further down stream.

Thanks for the comment Roberto - it's a superb room, really feels like you've gone back 1000 years in time when you enter it.
I'll be putting more of the Abbey up as the week goes on.

Excelent comosition, Ade, giving a real feelin of depth. As to my "Inside, variation" thanks for commenting on it. I take a photo of what I see and like, and then people, and you among them, see in them things from their fantasies, as if it were a Rohrschch test and that definitely is not my intention. Regards, Rafi
