About So, I put my selfmade extension tubes on my old Praktica and I shot a whole film. I'm a little bit dissapointed, because I have "hit" only a few shots. For the rest I was out of focus. I'm sure I need more practice.

This one is "out of the box", nothing adjusted, not even croping. The flower is called in Banat the "Stone Flower". I don't know its scientifical name.

Well, I guess the equipment works fine, I need to do something with my hands :)

Gorgeous floral macro Florin. Please keep trying with the extension tubes, it does take some practice as the focus range is very VERY narrow.
It may be easier to pre-focus on something still (maybe inside the house), make a mental note of the distance and then go outside to take the photo at exactly the same distance.

Thanks a lot Stephen! I had to deal also with wind in the missed shots, so I guess I was not quick enough to shoot when the subject was focused :) Maybe next time I'll do better.

Kind Regards,

Florin
