Hi Bartock; this is a wonderful shot! I love the strong diagonal line of the rocks and the colorful low growing plants from lower left corner toward the upper right. A very strong composition.
Vancouver Island certainly is beautiful, and although I've never been there, I've spent pre-photography days in NW Washington-- San Juan Islands etc., and lived in Bremerton, WA for a few years as a kid. Now on the Oregon Coast, I'm within a few miles of several state and county parks and beaches. I think we're both in "photographically rich" places. Cheers. Craig

Well Craig maybe I'll Just have to come down for a few days sometime and search out some of those hidden coves you have down there. You have inspired me to check it out some more. I was just down @ Dunes awhile ago with my son but he was in a hurry to get to Yosemite and then over to Mono lake so we didn't linger that long :( I really like the Dunes but found it funny that people drive all over them so it left a weird feeling for me. I guess I'm used to the untouched WILD feeling that we have up here more. I got some good shot never the less.
