Hey John ... This is great ... especially in b/w. I like all of this. Fisherman standing up .. thinking .. "where the heck are all the fish" lololo. Not a ripple in the water .. he's ready to pack it in. .. Love it John.

Regards ........ Bill

Good morning, John! You've been uploading some excellent B&W shots just lately and this one is no exception. I just love the deep tones of the little jetty and its shadows.

Good work my friend!

Kind regards, Chris

Excellent composition and chice of b&w. The bird in flight, althogh a strike of luck, adds life to the photo and the boat seems to point to the endless. The only thing I cold not understand wre the next to the name of the photo.
Thanks for your generous coment on my "Mother's love". It was indeed a great day, my grand-daughter's Bat Mitzvah.
Regards,
Rafi

Looks like one of those days. Lot's of fishing and no results. Nice composition with the dock in the foreground. Don.

Deb Mayes   {K:19605} 7/10/2004
Terrific composition - the dock by itself is good, with the reflections, but having the duck and the fisherman in his boat really adds impact. Well done!

Lee Harris   {K:14694} 7/11/2004
A really well composed image.
I like the rustic doc, the capture of the cormorant and boat is a plus to this composition but they aren't so strong that they distract.
My Complements.
Lee

Michael Sean Fleming   {K:2267} 8/10/2004
B&W was the perfect choice here. The tones and reflections look great. You even managed to include a little human interest. Well done!
