About Dragonfly #2; better than the first as far as lighting on him. However, you just can't admire his wings in this one.
Handheld, I'm amazed. I'm also amazed that he would let me get as close as I did!!

IT WAS A GOOD DAY TODAY!!
:) :)

lol...both are fantastic Lori...like the others I have no idea how you are able to achieve this....Gloria

Lori Stitt   {K:74437} 7/10/2004
Oh it was easy Gloria, the camera is smaller than a pack of cigarettes, no tripod. Just stretchd over some plants, right next to him, listen for the focus beep and hope I have all of him in the frame. I took a bunch! :)
THANKS!

Oh come on Lori... we are not that easily fooled, this is plastic :)

Seriously, this is perfect and i take my hat off to you. I really like this one. The "expression" on his face is as if to say "Hey look i really am sober!"

Best wishes from your friend - Neil

They're both excellent shot, Lori!
All this guy needs is one of those long white poles to help him balance.
(In fact, if I'd taken this picture I'd probably have PS'ed one in! :>) )
It was nice of him to let you get so close!
Kind regards, Chris

arwa abdullah   {K:34425} 7/10/2004

Richard Thornton   {K:26442} 7/11/2004
He let you get close because he was concentrating on the wire. (He wouldn't want to fall to his death!)Great composition.

Jimmy Payne   {K:21163} 7/12/2004

I love it, he has a lot of personality in this one. Sure the other is more eye catching but this one has more lasting power to enjoy.

Hi Jenny,

You are so right, I'm really partial to this guy!
