I keep watching this pic all day long, it's one of the best photos i've ever seen,sure there is not alot 2 tell about this one coz it's telling every thing, it gives us alot of meaning about friendship, pain,sport life, and the exraordinary ability of catching intimacy moments. Modern footballers are often overpaid, pampered, people but they do provide skill, entertainment, escapism, and sometimes even courage, for the masses. They are also human and for a young man of 24 to endure such a public death like this is awful, for his team mates especially gruelling and for some perhaps too much to bear. Your photos are staggering and the grief of Tiago is utterly consuming. Photographically the rain just seems to paint on the misery.
One thinks also of Marc-Vivien Foe, and countless amateurs may have suffered the same fate for love of their sport.
It is quite brilliant photography.

First, let me say that this is one of the best shots of its kind. But secondly, let me say that if I had been where you were, there is no way I would have justified the taking of this picture. I love photography, but I truly hate the guts of photojournalists just as much as I think their work is important, so I will never want to be one. I photograph the life of the poorer people in China, but many times there has been a point where I had to put the camera down and stop taking pictures, otherwise I would not qualify as a human being. Please don't misunderstand me, your photos are really great, and you might be a very nice person, but it is beyond my ability to take pictures of moments like this, not techinically (well, maybe...), but emotionally.
Once a fellow glider pilot of mine crashed, and the photojournalists were there before the ambulance. They were listening (illegally) to the emergency frequency, and as soon as we reported the loss of a plane with two people inside, they jumped up to shoot the story. They were not at all concerned about helping to get the people out of the wrecks, but almost told us to move aside so they can take their damn pictures. Then I was almost ashamed that I, myself was a photographer.

Fantasztikus kép!!!! Sajnos ezt meg kellett örökíteni.
Ő és a többi csapattársa nagy emberi méltóságról tettek tanubizonyságot amikor Miki meghalt.
