I like this too, Bev, almost as much as the b/w one earlier. Can't help thinking, though, that it was a long way to go to photograph a lily :-) Well done.

I haven't seen the other lilies yet, but will look at them later.
I LOVE this, to my untrained eye it works so well. light, texture
balance, its all there.

nice shot.. but still seems a bit contrasty..
like the idea of the contrast but seems to take away from the softness of the petals.
got my lights now so u can start making fun of me soon! :)

very well done LEGS....the mottled light effect which you got naturally due to the shape of the pedals works very nicely to give dimension, depth and texture to this flower....
