Usually, when I meet a person for the first time on the pages of "Usefilm", I comment on the last photo that person posted, as it is the first one I see. Not so in your case, Mr. Berte'. I chose your "Dolomiti- torrente" not necessarily because it is your best photo. All your photos are equally good, the colored and the B&W ones, but because I took an almost identical photo in the spring of 1967 in the mountains of Kurdistan in Northern Iraq. At that time Israel's help to the Kurds was highly secret, not so anymore, even books have been written about it. Most of the help was medical and I attach a photo of me sitting in a tent playing solitair brween seeing patients. The photo that resembles yours is unfortunately lost.

Thank for your comment and above all for having told your particular sensation have you felt looking my photo : it made me think that time and space are really relative concepts, after 40 years a similar photo make you go back in time.
